Obituary of Joanne L. Drew

Drew, Joanne L. Clare, MI Joanne L. Drew, aged 78, died peacefully on May 8, 2017 at home in Clare, MI. Joanne was born in 1938 in Dearborn, MI, to John and Angeline (Belinski) Horoszy. She was a 1956 graduate of Fordson High School, Dearborn, MI. After high school, she went to work at U.S. Trucking Company in Detroit, MI, where she remained employed for 25 years. She was a member of St Barbara's Catholic Church in Dearborn, MI. She enjoyed family, friends, cooking, playing cards, shopping and fashion. She was very close to her husband of 58 years and also with her mother, whom she spent time with almost daily until her passing in 1984. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Robert Drew and sons, John (Kathy) Drew, Robert (Shirley) Drew and Dean (Kathy) Drew. Also surviving are her sister Virginia Nicholls; brothers Leonard and Theodore Horoszy. She was also blessed with 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her sister, Lorraine Wojichowski in 2016. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on May 27,2017 at St Barbara's Catholic Church.
