Joan Louise Holbrook passed away peacefully on January 24,2026. Joan is survived by her daughters, Lisa (David) Helpap Jr., and Sarah Arbour; her grandchildren, Nicole (Mark) Buffone, Garrett Royalty, Morgan Morey, Megan Helpap, Madison Gruno, and David Helpap III; her seven great-grandchildren; and her twin sister, Michelle (Carl) Miller.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Vera Denison, and her brother, Michael Denison.
Later in life, Joan connected with members of her biological family, including, Rosemary, Pamela, Lester, and Terry.
Joan had a big heart and a spunky sense of humor that made life brighter for everyone around her. She adored her dogs, Feebee and Oscar, who were rarely far from her side. Her love and laughter will be remembered always.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family celebration will be held.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to the Compassus hospice team, with special thanks to Amber for her kindness and support.
