A proud graduate of Durand High School, Linda's commitment to her community was evident from her early years. She extended her service to others through her dedicated work as a bartender at the Durand Eagles Club. Linda's dedication went beyond her professional life as she was a charter member of the club, holding many offices over the years and contributing to its growth and success. Her commitment to fellowship was also seen in her involvement with the Order of Eastern Stars and her past membership with the Durand Moose Lodge.
Linda's life was marked by a love that extended to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Olund, with whom she shared a life full of memories. Her legacy continues through her loving daughter, Bethany Wiesenborn; her adored grandchildren, Kaytlyn Smith, Kevin and Whitney Wiesenborn, and Kristopher and Morgan Wiesenborn, Blake Soloc; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Mason, Connor, Rose, Blayklee, and Willow. Each of them carries a piece of Linda's indomitable spirit and kindness.
Known for her love of music, Linda found joy in melodies that could express what words sometimes could not. Her hands were rarely still, as she created beautiful crochet works that were both a testament to her skill and a symbol of her desire to wrap her loved ones in comfort.
