Janet (Wolicki) Farmer

Bay City, MI

Janet passed away at McLaren Bay Regional Hospital on May 26, 2025. She was born on December 22, 1945, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Neil and Kathryn (Badour) McInerney. She was married to her High School sweetheart on October 2, 1964, and together they had three children, Dale Wolicki, Karen (Steven) Peasley and Neil (Kris)Wolicki. Janet also had two grandchildren, Kevin (Racheal) Buchanan and Racheal (Cameron) Cranna. She is also survived by her brothers, Denis (Brenda) McInerney and Len (Janet) McInerney. Janet has many beloved nieces and many nephews including great nieces and nephews that were very dear to her. 

Janet worked retail for over 25 years including Fabric Fair and Target, where she met many longtime friends along the way. Having lunches with her large list of Cousins kept her calendar full, but her greatest joy was sewing, quilting, and cooking new recipes for us all to try. Her quilts and wall hangings have been shown at area quilt shows and the Bay City Museum, there are many more that lay over our beds and sofas to keep us warm. Janet was a “cat lady” she usually had 1 or 2 around to spoil. The latest two are Big Boy and Lil Girl who will miss her greatly.

She was proceeded in death by her ex-husband, Stan, brother James and sister-in-law Thelma and Great Niece Victoria
