Obituary of Larry Norman Schulz
Larry Norman Schulz, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, neighbor, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, at the age of 78, in his lifelong hometown of Saginaw.
Born on June 13, 1946, in Saginaw, Larry was the son of Maurice and Lorna Schulz. He grew up alongside his siblings, including his special brother Maurice (Sonny) Schulz. Larry's parents and two of his siblings preceded him in death.
Survived by his wife Pat Schulz, his stepchildren Shelley Gault, Shane (Kristin) Frost, and Megan (Dylan) Zimmerman. He was blessed with grandchildren Aaron (Morgan) Gault, Erika (Nick) Gault, Kelsi (Katrina) Frost, Jessica (Shawn) Payne, Braedyn, and Addisyn Zimmerman. Each grandchild held a special place in his heart, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Also including great-grandchildren Kennedy Adolph and the soon-to-arrive Baby Payne added even more happiness to his life.
Larry's sense of community extended beyond his immediate family. He was fortunate to have special neighbors, Dave Klepinger, Brendan Pabst, and Thomas Whitfield, who became dear friends and an integral part of his extended family. Their companionship and shared moments enriched Larry's life in countless ways.
Larry was a member of the Teamsters, Larry was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his profession of farming. He enjoyed family gatherings and gardening.
As we say goodbye to Larry Norman Schulz, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life filled with love, service, and the simple pleasures that bring meaning to our days. His memory will forever be cherished, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Larry's life will be honored in a private ceremony, as per his wishes. His family takes comfort in knowing that he lived a full life, surrounded by those he loved and who loved him in return. Larry's generosity will not be forgotten, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends for generations to come.
