We will always remember good times with Keith ,such things as trips to New York back in 1995 to visit Bethel. We all rode on the Grayhound bus. Also, hospitality at the VanFulpen outdoor garden where it looked like a miniature Paradise. We remember Keith and Phil going to concerts to see the “Big Names” during the 1970’s and 1980’s. We remember Keith as a “gentle” elder, someone who you felt comfortable talking to. And we remember the daily coffee and donut runs to Dunkin Donuts or Sweetwaters, Keith loved coffee and donuts ! But , we will remember the impact Keith left even within the Nursing Home. He was loved and respected even by the staff. We look forward to seeing Keith soon, we will have a lot to tell him. Elida and Phil.

A stroll through Keith's garden was like a mini glimpse of paradise. He was generous with not only its produce but also its beauty, inviting a variety of friends over regularly to enjoy it. He opened his home up to my dear friend Dorothy in her time of need and took such good care of her. I'll always be grateful he so graciously accepted the responsibility to be my DPA. I'm looking forward to getting gardening tips from him soon.

I have a lot of memories of Keith thru the last 45 years. He was quiet, but had a special kind of humor. You only had to look at him and you knew what was going on behind the sparkle in his eyes. We all had the opportunity to visit NY Bethel back in 1995 when Patterson was just being built. We have good memories of “Harry’s Hamburgers” in the City, visiting Wallkill with the baby animals and even sleeping on the floor of the Greyhound Bus !! Keith and Phil enjoyed going to music concerts and got to see some of the big name bands. We also remember hospitality at Keith and Lavona’s. Keith worked so hard on his garden so it would look like Paradise when we went out in the yard to eat. But more important , Keith left a reputation not only among the brothers and sisters , but also with the outside world. Even during his long illness, the medical staff acknowledged his kindness, mildness, perseverance and faith because of his reliance on his God Jehovah. Keith will not remember this pain when we see him soon, and we will all have things to share as we go thru these Very Last Days ! Elida
